Howell Cobb, Jr. certificate, 1866.

The collection consists of one document, datelined Bibb County "29th day of January 1866," is signed by Carleton B. Cole, Judge of the Superior Court of the Macon Circuit. It gives approval and admits Howell Cobb, Jr. to the Bar of the State of Georgia and assigns him "all the privileges of an attorney & counsellor & solicitor in the several courts of Law and Equity in this State." Entirely handwritten, it has the seal of Bibb County attached in the lower left corner.
